E’ tempo di riattaccare il numero sulla schiena anche per le ragazze della Top Girls Fassa Bortolo, che domenica 27 febbraio saranno impegnate sulle strade belghe della Omloop van het Hageland. 

A quella che è ormai una classica del calendario belga di inizio stagione sono iscritte molte delle migliori atlete al mondo, pertanto si tratterà già di un ottimo banco di prova per la squadra di Lucio Rigato. Saranno 128 i chilometri da percorrere, su di un percorso che si preannuncia molto impegnativo non tanto dal punto di vista altimetrico, quanto piuttosto per le strade strette e tortuose e la possibilità del vento del nord.

Le atlete impegnate saranno sei: Giorgia Bariani, Greta Marturano, Debora Silvestri, Cristina Tonetti, Giorgia Vettorello e Alessia Vigilia.

Lucio Rigato: “Abbiamo atteso a lungo questo momento e finalmente è arrivata l’ora di ricominciare anche per noi. Ci presenteremo al via con la miglior squadra possibile, nonostante non sia stato un inverno facile le ragazze si sono impegnate e preparate al massimo. Per noi questa gara sarà anche un test per capire a che punto della condizione siamo realmente, gareggiare a questo livello è sempre un ottimo banco di prova. La gara sarà senza dubbio complicata, correre al nord non è mai facile e lo sappiamo bene, ma siamo certi che le ragazze scelte saranno concentrate e pronte a dare il massimo”.

TOP GIRLS TO START THE SEASON AT OMLOOP VAN HET HAGELAND
