E’ tempo di attaccare nuovamente il numero sulla schiena per le ragazze dellaTop Girls Fassa Bortolo che saranno impegnate dal 9 al 12 febbraio all’UAE Tour, prova del calendario World Tour.

Le tappe in programma sono quattro, tre delle quali completamente pianeggianti e una con arrivo in cima allo Jabel Hafeet dopo un’ascesa di circa 10 km. Una corsa apparentemente semplice, quindi, dove però la minaccia del vento è costantemente presente e potrebbe decidere le sorti della classifica generale in qualsiasi momento.

Lucio Rigato, team manager della formazione, commenta così la trasferta: “Siamo molto felici ed onorati di poter al via della prima edizione dell’UAE Tour, gara a cui ci tenevamo particolarmente a partecipare. Sarà una corsa piena di insidie, prima fra tutte la variabile vento che potrebbe decidere la corsa fin dai primi due giorni, pertanto bisognerà essere concentrati fin dal primo metro di gara. Proprio per questo motivo abbiamo scelto di portare il gruppo di ragazze più esperto che avevamo a disposizione”.

It’s time to pin the number on the back again for the girls of Teams Top Girl Fassa Bortolo who will be at the UAE Tour, a race from the World Tour calendar, from 9th to 12th February.

A four-stage race, three of which are completely flat and one with an uphill finish at the top of Jabel Hafeet, after a climb of about 10 km. A race only apparently easy, since the threat of the wind is constantly present and could be deciding the GC of race in any moment.

Lucio Rigato, team manager of the team, says: “We are happy and honored to be at the start of the first edition of the UAE Tour, a race in which we strongly wanted to compete. It will be a very insidious race, first of all because of the wind which could decide the race since the first two days; therefore, we need to be concentrated since the first meter of the race. For this reason we selected the most experienced girls of the team”.
