TUTTO PRONTO PER GLI ULTIMI APPUNTAMENTI ALL’ESTERO

La formazione trevigiana della Top Girls Fassa Bortolo è in partenza per l’ultima trasferta all’estero della stagione. Le ragazze di Lucio Rigato parteciperanno, infatti, a due gare in Francia il prossimo fine settimana. Sabato 10 settembre si terrà la prima edizione della A Travers les Haute de France, mentre domenica 11 ci sarà il G.P. de Fourmies. Entrambe le competizioni si svolgeranno su di un tracciato nervoso e misureranno 117 km. Per entrambe le gare la formazione scelta sarà composta da: Giorgia Bariani, Virginia Bortoli, Iris Monticolo, Alice Palazzi, Cristina Tonetti e Alessia Vigilia. Lucio Rigato: “Ormai la stagione volge al termine e gli appuntamenti in agenda per il prossimo mese sono pochi. È stata una stagione molto intensa che termineremo con circa 70 giornate di gara, ma è stato altresì un anno ricco di soddisfazioni in cui abbiamo ottenuto probabilmente qualcosa in più rispetto a quanto ci aspettavamo all’inizio. Purtroppo in queste ultime settimane, e sarà così fino alla fine, a causa di diversi infortuni importanti abbiamo avuto a disposizione un numero limitato di ragazze e non abbiamo avuto la possibilità di variare le selezioni, ma nonostante ciò vorremmo finire la stagione nel miglior modo possibile, a partire da queste due gare in Francia”. A Rigato fanno eco le parole di Davide Gani, direttore sportivo per i prossimi due appuntamenti: “Le gare del prossimo weekend saranno sicuramente impegnative e ci aspettiamo un buon livello di partecipanti. Tuttavia, crediamo si tratti di due percorsi molto adatti alle caratteristiche delle nostre atlete, che hanno dimostrato durante tutto l’anno di saper farsi valere in questo tipo di gare; sappiamo anche che alcune di loro stanno vivendo un buon momento di forma e cercheremo di sfruttare questo fattore a nostro vantaggio interpretando le gare con un piano ed un obiettivo ben precisi, così come le ragazze hanno imparato a fare nel corso di questa lunga, impegnativa, ma bellissima stagione”.

The Treviso team of Top Girls Fassa Bortolo is leaving for the last trip abroad of the season. In fact, Lucio Rigato’s girls will participate in two races in France next weekend.



The first edition of the A Travers les Haute de France will be held on Saturday 10th September, while on Sunday 11th there will be the G.P. de Fourmies.Both competitions will take place on a nervous track and will measure 117 km.



For both races, the chosen line-up will be composed of: Giorgia Bariani, Virginia Bortoli, Iris Monticolo, Alice Palazzi, Cristina Tonetti and Alessia Vigilia.



Lucio Rigato: “The season is now coming to an end and there are few appointments left on the agenda for the next month. It has been a very intense season that we will finish with around 70 racing days, but it has also been a year full of satisfactions in which we have probably achieved something more than what we expected at the beginning. Unfortunately in the recent weeks, and it will be like this until the end, due to several major injuries we have had a limited number of girls available and we have not had the opportunity to vary the selections, but despite this we would like to finish the season in the best possible way, starting from these two races in France”.



Rigato is echoed by the words of Davide Gani, sport director for the next two events: “Next weekend’s races will certainly be challenging and we expect a good level of participants. However, we believe that these are two courses that are very suitable for the skills of our athletes, who have shown throughout the year that they are able to assert themselves in this type of competition; we also know that some of them are experiencing a good moment of form and we will try to exploit this factor to our advantage by interpreting the races with a very specific plan and goal, as the girls have learned to do during this long, demanding, but beautiful season”.
